Business Analist in een snelgroeiende scale-up in de energiesector

Is ondernemen je passie en droom je ervan om betrokken te zijn bij een snelgroeiende scale-up? Waarom dan niet nauw samenwerken met de Algemeen Directeur als Business Analist.  Als recent afgestudeerde met een Masteropleiding, een sterk commercieel instinct en de vaardigheid om ideeën overtuigend te communiceren en te onderbouwen met data, zou dit wel eens de ideale baan voor jou kunnen zijn.

Wat ga je doen?

Om te beginnen ga je de Algemeen Directeur voor tenminste een aantal maanden schaduwen en vrijwel alle activiteiten bijwonen om zoveel mogelijk over de onderneming te leren. Op basis daarvan krijg je steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid over eigen projecten die gaandeweg worden opgebouwd. Het uiteindelijke doel is een eigen plek in te nemen binnen de onderneming met jouw eigen taken en verantwoordelijkheden terwijl je de Algemeen Directeur ondersteunt en mee samenwerkt.

De voornaamste taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Structuur en optimalisatie binnen de onderneming waarborgen.
  • Eindverantwoordelijk voor verschillende wekelijkse en maandelijkse rapportages. Voorbeelden: je gaat maandelijks de 7 belangrijkste KPIs van de onderneming inzichtelijk maken en rapporteren, dashboarden creëren en andere verder uitbouwen en de cashflow verder inzichtelijker maken.
  • Wekelijkse en maandelijkse strategische sessies bijwonen om groei en winstgevendheid te optimaliseren.
  • De Algemeen Directeur ondersteunen met zowel strategische als praktische stukken.

Vereisten

  • Communicatief sterk in woord en geschrift in Nederlands en Engels.

Business Development Manager Middle East

As part of our expansion plans in the Middle East, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the Middle East.

Role Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business in the Middle East. Working closely with the Regional Manager Middle East, your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, build, and maintain strong relationships with clients, and strategically expand our market presence. With your downhole drilling experience and our gamechanging technology, you will provide continuous solutions to numerous clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager Middle East to develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients, generating new leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
  • Travel constantly to meet clients across the Middle East, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects and deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to secure new business partnerships.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to effectively position our offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development or sales roles within the energy industry, preferably with experience in the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle East market, including key players, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for generating new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-value deals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Middle East region.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Good understanding of downhole drilling with a technical background.

Mechanical Design Engineer

What are the primary responsibilities of the R&D department?

  • Translate drilling engineering challenges into high-performance drilling products, addressing the unique needs of our customers.
  • Oversee and optimize the global manufacturing and repair processes of our drilling tools, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Design new products and modify existing ones, creating detailed drawings to guide the manufacturing process.
  • Utilize CFD and FEA techniques to conduct a comprehensive analysis of both new and existing products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Take end responsibility for legal matters related to all products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What type of profile are we looking for?

  • Mechanical engineering degree at university (bachelor or master) level.
  • Multiple years of experience in different technical roles.
  • Knowledge in Non-Linear FEA analysis, CFD analysis, Inventor/Ansys Software, and skilled in 3D CAD software.
  • Determining component specifications (material, hardness, treatment).
  • Coordinates production and controls quality documents.
  • Comfortable working with a patent lawyer to research and write patents.
  • R&D skills and a creative technical view.
  • Creative and capable of thinking out of the box.
  • Team player that is also able to work autonomously.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and confident personality.
  • Comfortable working in a small and dynamic team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
